The Grace
Pumpkin Patch
Open Annually in
September and October!
Want to Volunteer?
Help Unload
We are open until 7pm on October 31.
Your help unloading the pumpkins and placing them in the patch would be a huge help! We need many hands to make this happen. The truck is often late and sometimes even comes on a different day. To let everyone know if the truck is on time or to share updates we use a text list.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are your hours?
Monday through Saturday, 10am-7pm, and Sunday, 11:15am-7pm. There may be times we close due to inclement weather. You can check our Pumpkin Patch Facebook Page for weather closure information.
How much does it cost to visit the patch?
It is free to come to the patch!
What all do you sell?
We sell pumpkins, gourds and beautiful mums in a variety of colors.
How much are the pumpkins and mums?
The littlest pumpkins are $1, and there is a section of small $3 pumpkins.
Out in the main patch, the pumpkins are measured by their size and range from $4 up to $40 for really large ones.
Mums will be back this year. Check back soon for pricing.
Do you accept credit cards?
We accept cash, credit, debit, and Apple Pay.
What is there to do?
Look at and purchase pumpkins and take pictures. We have a beanbag toss for children, but we are a pumpkin patch with no hay rides or other rides. Some people spend a long time taking pictures or simply observing all of the shapes, sizes, and colors of pumpkins. There are a couple of spots set up for you to take pictures.
When is the best time to come?
As you would expect, we are busiest on the weekends. So if you want a more peaceful time, you would want to come during the week.
Are pets welcome?
With so many people walking around, we prefer you not bring your furry friends to the pumpkin patch.
Where are the pumpkins grown?
Pumpkins are grown on the Navajo Indian Reservation in New Mexico.
Where do the proceeds go?
- Navajo Nation - Pumpkins are grown on the Navajo Indian Reservation in New Mexico. Over 700 Native Americans are employed during the harvest season in September and October as well as a full-time staff in the off season. This is great for a region that has a 42% unemployment rate.
- Thornwell Children's Home - We are able to provide funds to help the children and youth of Thornwell.
- Historic Paradise Foundation.
- Isaiah 117 House.
- Grace Youth Group - Money raised from the pumpkin patch helps each youth and family by helping to offset the costs of various items, trips and events that the youth group feels is important to the spiritual growth of each youth. These events have included spiritual growth trips such as the Montreat Youth Conference. They have also served at places such as Give Kids the World and in the communities of Spindale, NC, and Louisville, KY.
