Please join Grace Presbyterian Church’s mission of supporting children here in our own community.
Select an angel ornament from the Christmas tree at the front left side of the church sanctuary. There are 80 children of all ages, whose Christmas wishes are listed on each ornament. Each child is currently being cared for by the York County Department of Social Services.
Write your name and phone number on the form on the door to the right of the tree. Your ornament will have a number that corresponds with a number on the sheet.
Shop for the child’s gift, wrap it in a gift bag with tissue paper (no wrapped presents please, all gifts have to be inspected by DSS organizers!) and drop it off at the church no later than Sunday, December 8th.
Thank you for helping to make a difference in the life of a child this Christmas!
Any questions can be directed to Katie Rutland.
2019 Advent "I Believe Even When..."
The story of the birth of Jesus is filled with common themes of human drama. By exploring the first chapter of each of the Gospels in this Advent/Christmas series we will acknowledge the presence of hope through Christ "even when..."
Grace Family First Night
Join us this Sunday, December 8, at 5pm for the great Chili Cook-off at Grace Family First Night. Following our meal we will all be treated to the children's Christmas program. You are asked to bring chili, cornbread and/or sides and deserts.

If you're looking for a great way to serve, the Community Cafe Food Truck would be glad to have you help. You can serve on Thursday and Friday afternoons and/or evenings to help prepare and serve food. There should be at least one adult helping out, but children around age 10 or older can help. Food preparation consists of making some PB&J and Ham & Cheese sandwiches. Go here for some more information and to sign up to help!
John Heads to Colombia
Join us as we support John Wilson as he begins his year-long journey to Colombia, South America with the Young Adult Volunteer Program.
We have a variety of gifts, talents, and interests here at Grace. We encourage everyone to fill out this brief fellowship survey to allow others to know about your interests. This will help out the fellowship team by allowing us to plan events that match the interests of Grace. It will also allow Grace members to connect with each other through their interests. The church is transitioning over to a new database system. It will allow for an easier way of communication. A secure online directory is now available as well as an app. If you have already been invited to Realm, then go ahead and check it out. If you haven't yet been invited and want to check it out, then send Peggy or Rhett an e-mail.
