Bike Maintenance with RJ Manoni, Fort Mill Bike Repair
February 5, 7pm
Do you have a bike sitting in the garage that you keep saying, “one day I’ll get it fixed and ride it again?” For fun or exercise, cycling is a great way to be outside and enjoying the great weather and scenery that this area has to offer.
In this class, you'll learn how to diagnose your bike’s needs to get it ready for those long days of biking you have ahead of you. We'll take time to learn how to fix a flat on the side of the road or trail, and go over general maintenance for wheel and tires, drive train, and brakes. If you are tired of having to take your bike into the shop every time you get a flat, this is the class for you.
Special Notes from instructor:
As part of the class fee, each learner will go home with a bike flat kit. ($9 value)
About the instructor:
RJ is a long time bike enthusiast and when he isn’t riding he is often found repairing bikes in his garage through his Fort Mill Bike Repair side-gig. RJ has experience with road and mountain bikes and has had to change a flat tire in the Moab desert and in the chilly Asheville mountainside after a black bear sighting. He is one of the hosts of the annual Triple Dip bike ride in Fort Mill.
