Sunday School
During the school year, we have five Sunday School classes for children at Grace (listed below). We use the Spark! curriculum produced by Augsburg Fortress Press. Children have a great time learning Bible stories, playing games, making crafts and more. Toddler Class: Ages 2-3, Room 3 Early Childhood Class: Age 4-Kindergarten, Room 9 Primary Class: 1st-2nd Grade - Room 8 Elementary Class: 3rd-4th Grade - Room 10 Presbyterian Kids: 5th-6th Grade - Room 14 Worship Jesus welcomed the little children and so do we! We are happy to provide a Grace Kids' Corner when you enter the sanctuary. We offer children’s books, worship bags, and children’s bulletins. Feel free to take what you need during worship, and please return books and bags at the end of worship for the next week. Continued during the second service, the Nursery, Toddler Class, and Early Childhood Class are provided for our littlest worshipers (age 5 and under). After The Time with Young Disciples with Pastor Joanne, children in grades 1-3 are dismissed to Children's Church for a Bible lesson and activities, while adults and older kids remain in the sanctuary. On Sundays when we offer Communion (the first Sunday of every month), children are invited to stay in the sanctuary during the service. Half Notes Each Sunday after worship the Half Notes, our children’s choir, meet in room 15 to sing songs with Ginger and Mary. They perform at Grace Family First Nights, a Christmas musical and spring time musical. Half Notes does not meet during the summer. To learn more, click here. |
